Meet Lennert: Postdoctoral Researcher in the Macroscope Project

Lennert is a postdoctoral researcher working on the Media and Web Diets Observatory, part of the Macroscope project, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Theo Araujo and Prof. Dr. Jessica Piotrowski.

Within the project, Lennert works with data donation procedures to develop a representative, longitudinal dataset of thousands of individuals through the LISS Panel (Centerdata). The project connects meso-level public debate and micro-level attitudes and behaviors with participants’ social media and online media consumption.

By linking these different levels of analysis over time, the project aims to provide researchers and students with new opportunities to explore the relationship between what people consume online and how their attitudes and behaviors develop. The resulting dataset will serve as a resource for future research on the evolving relationship between media consumption, public debate, and individual-level outcomes.
