Impact and adoption
Port is being used by a growing number of researchers across Europe. Since its first deployment in 2022, adoption has accelerated each year as more institutions discover data donation as a research method. In 2025, D3I received structural funding to help support researchers at Dutch institutions in conducting data donation studies with free support and access to infrastructure.
